Roar

And when I’m alone
The grass seems greener
On the other side of the moon
And the sun shines brighter
On the other side of my soul.

So I must find you
Through the forest of my thoughts
And the veil of my tears
To be together again in nights
Of endless sorrow.

Without the world to see us
While I look into your eyes
Bleeding from a broken heart
And drink a cup of lies
From your bittersweet lips.

And when I’m alone
The blue sky is darker than the rain
In the horizon clear memories appear
And the light brings pain
In the horizon of my soul.

So I must find you
For I can stand the pain
And want to drink another cup of lies
To see the light again
On the other side of my soul.
